Building at the intersection of AI and software engineering
CS graduate from NYU Abu Dhabi. I build automation pipelines, fine-tune language models, and design systems that work at scale. Currently at Odoo — previously at Yandex and NYUAD research labs.
I'm Alexey — originally from Kazakhstan, studied in Abu Dhabi, now living in Brussels. My background is in computer science, but I've always gravitated toward the applied side of things: building tools that actually get used, not just writing code for its own sake.
These days I work at Odoo on database migrations and backend systems. Before that I spent time at Yandex building LLM automation pipelines, and before that in research labs at NYUAD working on vision-language models for assistive technology.
Outside of work I follow spend time with my friends and family, run my own server infrastructure as a hobby, and spend a good amount of time on sports and gaming. I also built the mini-games on this site, which says something about how I spend my free time.
